Yesterday we were at the opening party of FBRK @ STPLN.
There were plenty of guests and I was in charge of their instagram account for the evening taking pics of all the makers.
Check them out here: http://instagram.com/fbrkn_stpln
This is a great place for all you entrepreneurs out there, you can build your own things with their workshop, 3D printers and cutters and other fun resources they have.
Check it out if you ever want to do some prototypes or DYI projects: http://stpln.se/
Instagram seems to be taking over the world and boothie is extremely excited that it is now available for android users, as it makes our announcement even more accessible, for all smartphone users. If you’re not on the insta bandwagon yet check it out, it’s just like twitter but for pictures! Some of my favourite people to follow on it are: hacth427, umetaturou, alice_gao, beside, ejan, solig, sandrabeijer, snoopybabe, and of course zooeydeschanel and if you want to follow me my name is rachlach2.
Tyra banks said it best today on twitter - every moment can be a photoshoot!
After we saw the instaprint video (see post below) we had the chance to work together with Niklas and Nicklas from Kontxtr to create a boothie version. What this means for you as a customer is your guests can now take photos with instagram, tag them with your event’s designated hash tag and then the photos will print out at boothie!
This is a service that we are hoping to offer along with the normal boothie set up but it can also take place it’s own. Just like boothie’s print outs you can still add your own template to the photo and you can even include information about when, where and by whom the photo was taken. Also like boothie, you will be provided with a digital photo album after so you can upload your pics to facebook or feature them on your website.
Instaboothie is like a throw back to the old wedding tradition of providing all tables with a disposable camera. It lets each guest have their own portable photobooth and gives the host the opportunity to see their event through their guest's eyes. It’s a reality nowadays that your guests are going to have their smartphone with them at your event (sorry to say) so why not embrace it!
Be sure to check out Kontxtr, which is another fun way that you can engage guests at your party through twitter! They’re so awesome and they’ve provided a 40% discount if you use the rebate code: Boothie.
We’re going to try out Instaboothie next week at The Academic Society of Lund’s Laser tag competition and dinner party, I’ll be sure to keep you updated. Standby for a video of it in action and don’t hesitate to contact me if you’re interested in having instaprint at your upcoming event!
